Description

SAFE-GUARD canine dewormer (fenbendazole) 4 gram packets are for the treatment and control of roundworms, hookworms, whipworms, and Taenia tapeworms in dogs. The granules are mixed with a small amount of food and given for three consecutive days. The 4 gram size is commonly used for larger dogs and puppies according to body weight.

Adverse Reactions Approximately 1% of dogs had vomiting associated with use of this product.

When using this product For dogs only, 6 weeks and older. Do not deworm a dog or puppy that is sick.

Directions

The daily dose for SAFE-GUARD Canine is 50 mg/kg (22.7 mg/lb) of body weight.
Weigh your dog to make sure you are using the correct packet size and number of packets.
Mix the daily dose with a small amount of the usual food.
Make sure your dog eats all of the medicated food.
Moisten dry food if needed to aid mixing.
Repeat the daily dose for three days in a row.
